When I log into the NetMAX console using X (Start X-session), both KDE and Netscape complain that they are unable to write configuration files. |

| In order to log in using an X-session, a user must have login enabled
through the NetMAX interface and must have a home path enabled. Go to
Home|Users|Users and edit the user you are trying to log in. Verify
that (1) the Account is Enabled, (2) Home Path is Enabled, and (3) Unix
Shell Login is Enabled.
