BLD475 shipped with XFree86 3.3.2.
NetMAX 2.x shipped with XFree86 3.3.3.1. Strictly speaking, the NetMAX provides an X "client" - an X Server runs on a user's local computer. NetMAX comes bundled with MI/X, a freeware X Server for MacOS and Windows. When the NetMAX is also acting as an X Server, the default window manager is KDE 1.0. NetMAX 4.0x ships with XFree86 4.1. XFCE is the default Window Manager. KDE, GNOME, Enlightenment, and others will work with NetMAX, but all require manual setup. Please see the FAQ about changing your window manager for help with that. address-suppressed |
