(Answer) (Category) NetMAXFAQ : (Category) DNS / DHCP Services :
Can I configure the WAN interface like a DHCP client, and my internal network as a DHCP server?
Applies to: NetMAX version 2.x

Presently, the only NetMAX-interface supported protocol for HDLC (WAN) interfaces is IP-less. DHCP Client is not supported for WAN interfaces (unless you configure it yourself). To configure the NetMAX as a DHCP server, go to Home|Network|DHCP and click "Enable DHCP (Static and Dynamic)". To configure for static DHCP, you will need to define the static addresses using Home|Network|Machines.
