(Answer) (Category) NetMAXFAQ : (Category) DNS / DHCP Services :
I can't find the DNS CLIENT tab on my NetMAX FireWall/Professional?
Applies to: NetMAX L2.2Pv3.0
address-suppressed
Although the NetMAX L2.2Pv3.0 User Manual mentions this CLIENT tab under the subtitle Specifying the DNS Client Options in the Setup Procedures section, this portion of the manual is incorrect.

The CLIENT and SERVER tabs were combined, resulting in only one page under Home|Network|DNS. The configuration of this area is explained under Checking the DNS settings in the Setting Up a New NetMAX Server Network section of the User Manual.

You should enter your alternate domain name servers (Name Servers that were more than likely provided to you by your ISP) on this page.
