NetMAX products use SSL (Secure Socket Layer) communications to ensure security.
Some browsers are known to have difficulties in the way they deal with this protocol. (Internet Explorer 5.0 and above for example) The easiest solution to this problem is to use a browser that is known to work with the NetMAX interface, such as Netscape Navigator. (All versions including SSL, with the exception of Netscape 6.0) You may also try lowering the security settings of your browser if you are adamantly opposed to using Netscape, though this will not solve every known problem and poses a security risk. For Internet Explorer 5.0 and above, turn off SSL 3.0. It can be found in the Advanced options screen in Internet Explorer. For other browsers, please refer its documenation / website for more information on how to lower or change security settings, and the implications of doing so. address-suppressed |
