How do I use the NetMAX Personal Tutor?
The NetMAX Personal Tutor is now available in our online store. The Tutor will take you through common networking tasks and configurations step by step. The NetMAX Personal Tutor is broken down into nine sections each with multiple videos. To obtain the tutor, first go to the NetMAX store. Next, purchase the Personal Tutor. You will then be given a download link. Download the software, and follow the instructions below to use it.

To View the NetMAX Personal Tutor, you will first need the following software:
  • An HTML Browser such as Microsoft Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator, Mozilla, or Opera.
  • Flash Player, available from http://www.macromedia.com/ at no cost.
  • A decompression program for zip files (Windows XP comes with one standard, WinZIP for all other Windows versions, unzip for Linux/UNIX, or another compatible program.

Viewing the Videos:
First, unzip the file you downloaded using your program of choice. Next, open the file named "00 Index - Start Here.html" by double clicking on it in Windows Explorer or by opening it with your web browser. You may then click on the links to view any of the videos. Use your browser's Back button to return to the index.

We recommend that you make a backup copy of the videos by burning the zip file to a CD, or using other means. Please note that redistribution of these files is not allowed.
